(a) That, four days after Mrs. Gandhi's assassination, on the 3rd November, 1984 at 11.00 p.m. he saw Mr. Jagdish Tytler near the gate of the T.B.Hospital, rebuking a group of people saying that his "instructions had not been faithfully carried out. There had been only a nominal killing in the constituency compared to other places, as I had promised."
(b) S. Jasbir Singh also states that he stayed in the house of S. Sucha Singh, and that he went and told him, in detail, what he saw and heard.
Reply to (a) : This is totally false and fabricated because the whole of Delhi was under curfew, with "shoot at sight" orders, and the whole area of Delhi had been taken under the custody of the Armed Forces in the late afternoon of 2/11/1984, as per the letter of the Ministry of Home Affairs, taken under RTI Act.

As the whole of Delhi was under curfew not a single person could move anywhere, not even within any street; and the question does not arise of a group of people coming together to listen to a talk by Mr. Jagdish Tytler before the gate of the T.B.Hospital. This is a false and fabricated lie.
Reply to (b): This is also false and fabricated. S. Sucha Singh has also submitted his affidavit to the CBI, in which S.Sucha Singh states that he does not know S.Jasbir Singh, that he had never seen him, nor ever heard his name throughout his life.
His affidavit clearly states that S.Jasbir Singh never stayed in S.Sucha Singh's house. To confirm his statement, S.Sucha Singh has also issued his statement to the press as well.

Keeping in view the perspectives of S.Sucha Singh's affidavit and statement combined with the curfew on that day, the statement that S.Jasbir Singh had heard Shri Jagdish Tytler instigating the people collected at the gate of the T.B. Hospital to kill more Sikhs fails. No incident of arson, burning or killings was reported in any area including Outram Lines and Kingsway Camp or Delhi, at this particular time, either before or after the Riots.

S. Jasbir Singh got a lot of publicity on the TV Channel where he says that he has run away to America because he was threatened and afraid of Jagdish Tytler. The truth is that S. Jasbir Singh was charged u/s 398, 506/34 of the IPC for attempt to murder and he jumped bail. There is a open warrant for his arrest from the Hon. Court of Hon. Rajiv Mehta, Addl. Sessions Judge and has been declared as a “Proclaimed Offender (PO) on 21/1/2004 on an FIR No. 120/97 at Police Station Indraprasth Estate, New Delhi.
As per the record of the Court, he has assaulted and beaten up, with a sharp weapon, with intent to murder (u/s 308), to prevent the witness in the case from going to Court to depose in the case in the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots. He tried to stop them with a bribe of Rs. 24 Lakhs by telling them not to give evidence against a political person who was involved in the 1984 Riots. He threatened to kill Smt. Darshan Kaur, w/o Late Ram Singh and her sister Smt. Kamlesh Kaur, w/o S. Bhajan Singh r/o P-171 Raghubir Nagar, Delhi; and when they refused, he not only assaulted them but also assaulted a Police officer who was protecting them.

I personally believe one should never go by anybody's worlds in such situations rather should try to see the facts. Though i owe lot of respect for Sh. jagdish Tytler for so many other reasons but as far as this matter is concerned i would have been the first person to stand against him, agitating for his arrest, if he actually would have committed something or would have been even a part of any such conspiracy. the facts speaks by itself that he is innocent and is just a victim of politics (both national and party's internal). There are so may things which people (intelligent) can understand by hint and need not to be disclosed here. But He is purely innocent in 84 anti sikh riots and everybody should raise his voice in his favor. the larger issue here is if this way only such calibered people are gonna be treated what future can we expect for our nation. Firstly, very few sincere and actually deserving people get ready to enter into indian political system, though there is a long waiting list for humbty - dumpty stuff, and if such people will get this verdict from the society then those few people will too cease to look towards politics and im dam sure that will be the worst phase of indian democratic system hence my appeal to all the readers is only one,,, come on friends it is high time,,,,, we won't tolerate it any more... come and stand with Mr. Tytler... alredy he has got a major setback in his political career. now dont let it move on......
ReplyDeleteTytler pretends to be innocent but there are enough eye witnesses who have reported seeing him. and we cannot deny that he was MLA of those areas where riots happened and big follower of Indira Gandhi at that time.
ReplyDeleteAs for paper trail that Tytler is talking about it is easy to fabricate such reports and cover up. We all know how corrupt Delhi Police is and in many cases Delhi Police itself was involved in riots.
Tytler should consider himself lucky he is in India. In the west he would have been hanged for his crimes against humanity.
I am sure a well educated person would first collect facts and only then he will speak.

Only two affidavits were made against me, one by Jasbir Singh and the other by S.Surinder Singh. Regarding Jasbir singh, I have already given the whole story. And regarding Surinder Singh who later withdrew his affidavit saying that he was duped by the advocate. He could neither read, write or speak english. His advocate took his signature on the affidavit saying that it was for compensation. He later wrote his own affidavit in Gurumukhi language. You can see him speak:
